Design Issues Spring 2016

Not long ago I was invited to design the front and back covers for the 100th issue of the journal Design Issues. The publication was just released and this is the result. This was the first time I mixed typography into my photo construction process. All the individual images were created in camera using my own studio materials. I thenarranged the photo prints together physically and then rebuilt the final digitally. The combination of hand and digital skills excites me the most, and I am pleased when I can use a process developed for personal work into my commercial projects.
